Our story
Salvador Furniture is the result of a passion for creating bespoke, quality Australian made furniture that is sustainable and environmentally conscious. The business was founded in January 2022 by Ryan and Sarah Gilligan, who are committed to using their skills and knowledge to craft unique and beautiful pieces of furniture that are built to last.
Ryan is a professional cabinetmaker who completed his apprenticeship in Currumbin, QLD. During his time there, he developed a deep love and respect for Australian timber species and an appreciation for the timeless beauty of solid wood. After several years of honing his skills and learning the craft of cabinetmaking in a fast-paced, custom furniture-making environment, he set out to establish his own business.

We are committed to using sustainable materials in all of our products. We source our timber from FSC certified forests and utilise salvaged and recycled timbers where possible. This commitment to sustainability is a core value of our business and we believe it is our responsibility to ensure that our products have a minimal impact on the environment.
